Sewage and Waste
Ville De Dieu, Port Au Prince, Haiti.
December, 2010

Part of the Bicentennaire district, Ville de Dieu’s population resides on a growing landfill composed of Port Au Prince’s untreated effluence and sewage. This waste travels down one of five large sleuces designed to flush material into the sea. Tidal flows regularly deposit garbage onto habitation sites.
