Danskoy Crematorium, Moscow. 1995. Platinum-palladium print on (Wyndstone) vellum from 8×10 inch negative
This is a strange one. I’ve made two photographs in ‘resting places’ for the deceased, this one in Russia, and another, a few months later, in India. Both have an inexplicable set of blemishes on them. Part of me wants to think, hmm, pyro developer is fussy and I must have messed up with my agitation during processing. Another part of me wonders. Ghosts.
